London Police are asking everyone to lock their vehicles and to leave anything of any value out of sight after a spike of vehicle break and enters.

Since November 14th, police say there have been 20 reported incidents of thefts from vehicles in the neighbourhood bounded by Commissioners Road to the north, Bradley Avenue to the south, Meadowgate Boulevard to the west and Jackson Road to the east.

The thefts are generally occurring between midnight and 5:00 a.m.

Suspects are attempting door handles or smashing windows in order to get the items. These items include but are not limited to laptops, GPS units, iPods, wallets, and other items.

Police say the thefts from vehicles are occurring throughout the entire city, and are asking everyone to be on the lookout.

Neighbours are asked to look out for one another and to report all suspicious activity by calling London Police or Crime Stoppers.
