The holiday season is well underway and there are a lot of activities for families to do leading up to the time when we have to go back to work or school.
They are many opportunities to visit Santa Claus, take in fun family events and even help families that are in need. You can check out the events at Canada’s London or Tourism London’s website
After Christmas festivities are done, there are many things to do on New Year’s Eve including: London Rockin’ New Year’s Eve taking place in Victoria Park.
Admission is free and the festivities kick off around 7PM.
Full lineup of events at Victoria Park:
As it gets dark: Free family skating at ice pad, complimentary hot chocolate and coffee
7PM: My Perfect Princess Party presenting “Queen Elsa and Princess Anna”
8PM: Performance by Rise to Fame singers from Western Fair District
9PM: Fireworks for the kids atop City Hall
10PM: Hangar 18 performs
11PM: Platinum Blonde performs, followed by fireworks at midnight from atop City Hall
The city also is taking part in the season of giving with free parking through the month of December in select areas. There also free holiday skates to help you slide into the new year.
Victoria Park is also lit up in festive colours until New Year’s day.
