London Police have now laid a charge after an overnight stabbing in the city’s south end.
Emergency crews were called to 91 High St. shortly just after 11:50 p.m. Monday for reports of a stabbing.
Police say a 22-year-old man was found in the hallway suffering from multiple stab wounds to the abdomen.
He was rushed to hospital where he is currently listed in serious condition.
Shortly after, police say a 21-year-old male suspect was found and arrested without incident.
The two men did not know each other prior to the stabbing.
As a result, police have charged 21-year-old Blaine MacKenzie Smith of London with 1 count of aggravated assault.
Police continue to investigate.
