Western University has released the expense details of the Amit Chakma scandal. The report shows that the University spent close to $100 000 on legal and PR services.
The report shows that just over $65 000 was paid to Toronto based Navigator limited. The firm was hired to help Western understand the frustration felt by students, staff and Londoners and how to deal with it accordingly.
$24 000 was also paid out to Local law firm Hicks Morley, who specialize in financial and accounting issues
Chakma has returned $440 000 back to the University when it was discovered he had made the provincial sunshine list with double his usual salary
