Chris Watson, the face behind Doctor Doom, is a local cosplayer that started doing this to help in charities.
Watson remembers “I actually help on the Tim Horton’s camp day with a bunch of other cosplayers, and had a lot of fun.”
The Ontario Doctor Doom is Watson’s signature cosplay as he participates at the London Comic Con. “For me London is my Doomstat, and all of you are my loyal subjects” says Watson as he laughs on his representation of the character.
Different cosplayers call London their hometown, and events like the con allows them to interact with the public.
Watson encourages the visitants at the London Comic Con to say hi to him, and to “keep calm, is just a dooms bot.”
