Within the next coming weeks, many people around London are getting ready for one of the spookiest nights of the year, Halloween.
On October 31st, many witches and goblins will be roaming the streets and asking the very famous question, trick or treat. Along with this exciting night comes many dangers that people should be cautious of.
The London Police are always cautious during halloween and are always patrolling the streets to make sure Londoners are safe. Constable Ken Steeves says, ” specifically with trick or treating, ensure that you are going out with friends, never go alone. If your of a younger age, of course, make sure you have a parent with you.”
A few other tips for staying safe on halloween is always checking the candy that you receive. For example, if your candy wrapper is open, throw it out. Constable Ken Steeves also adds that if you are to receive fruit, do not eat it unless you have inspected it.
Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, making it a spooktacular halloween for all!
