A special weather statement is in effect for the next couple days.
Environment Canada states, the strong wind and rain from the developing fall storm will merge with the remnants of Hurricane Patricia, making it especially stormy.
Southwestern Ontario is predicted to get rain Tuesday Night, with the weather system moving up to the Golden Horseshoe by Wednesday morning.
There’s an estimated amount between 25-40 millimetres of rain.
Thunderstorms are possible during the storm.
Wind will also be a factor for Southwestern Ontario Wednesday, gusting up to 70 kilometres per hour. The wind will pass through to the rest of Southern Ontario by Wednesday night.
