Police were dispatched on the afternoon of November 11th to a Wal-Mart store on St. Clair Street in Chatham.
A Chatham man was arrested for shoplifting. Upon being searched, police found the man to be in possession of crystal methamphetamine.
40-year old Douglas Couvillon from Chatham has been charged with:
- theft under $5000
- possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000
- drug possession.
He was released pending a future court date of November 26, 2015.
