CRHESI or the Centre for Research on Health Equity and Social Inclusion, has been launched by community partners Thursday.
The CRHESI is lead by Western University’s Faculty of Health Sciences. The program is a joint effort between the community of London and academic partners.
Associate Dean of Research at the Faculty of Health Sciences and co-Director of CRHESI, Helene Berman said in a public statement,
“This partnership allows us to study these issues from a multitude of perspectives and areas of expertise with an end goal os improving the health and well-being of people in our community.”
The initiative will focus on studying ways to eliminate any concerns about inequality and discrimination in the London healthcare system.
