Students are truly the future of our society, but they are building the technology of the future now. As of now students in London, and across Ontario are working hard to make our life easier.
Different groups, ranging from high students to PHd gathered at Western University to participate in the HACK-A -thon, where groups worked for 36 hours straight to develop a piece of technology. That could have been an app, a piece of hardware, or software.
They were part of Hack Western, an event to work and learn, while connecting with peers and sponsors.
The event had more than 130 projects, and more than 470 participants in their second edition.
One of the groups constructed a biking station with virtual simulation.Group member Tyler Lacroix said, “When you are cycling, you are staring to a blank wall. We wanted to make the experience more pleasant to everyone”
