Staff at the Grinning Gator will volunteer their time on Christmas Day to make sure no one is left hungry. The second annual Feed the Need event will provide a free turkey dinner to those in need, and who may not otherwise have one.
“When you deal with the general public, and in our capacity where you see all walks of life, you get constant reminders that there are people who maybe don’t have things as well as you do,” says Rick Polo, the marketing manager.
“We’re here to give back to the downtown community that really allows our business to thrive.”
Polo says they are expecting many guests for their feast, which will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on December 25th.
