Two Woodstock residents had a heart-wrenching moment on Wednesday, March 2nd after three people broke into their home and assaulted them.
At approximately 9:45 p.m, Woodstock Police Service responded to a 911 call from a resident on Hay Street, reporting a home invasion.
Police responded and found the female resident injured and in need of medical attention for non-life threatening injuries. Police also found a man suffered minor injuries.
Before police arrived, three men broke through the front door of the home brandishing weapons, and assaulted both residents.
The suspects stole various electronics before fleeing the residence eastbound on Russel Street to an awaiting vehicle.
The first suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’9” with a heavy build. He was wearing black jogging pants, a sweater and a white scarf or mask across his face. The second suspect is described as a black male with a thin build and a black beard. He was wearing all black clothing with a hood up over his head and the third suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’8” with a very thin build. He was wearing a white mask and ‘salt and pepper’ Roots brand track suit, wearing his hood up.
