London Police work with OPP to arrest five in relation with two robberies

London Police and the Ontario Provincial Police had to work together to charge five people in connection with two robberies.

This past early Wednesday morning, two adult men entered a Mac’s Milk variety store at 507 Salisbury Ave. and demanded cash. The one man was holding a machete. Both men left with a large amount of money and cigarettes.

Later that same morning, just before 3 a.m. a woman armed with a baseball bat entered another Mac’s Milk in Thamesford. She was accompanied with another woman and the two same men from the earlier robbery. One man was armed with a machete as well.

In both incidents, money and cigarettes was stolen. The OPP then began to work with London Police to catch the suspects. After 3 a.m. the suspects were arrested on Huron St.

Two 19-year old men, an 18-year old man and two young girls all face numerous robbery related and possession of stolen goods charges.
