Londoners are getting ready to lace up their running shoes and hit the course downtown this weekend.
Forest City Road Races are back for another year and will be taking over the downtown core this sunday.
The FCRR includes 4 races, the 600 metre Kids Fun Run which is sponsored by Mcdonalds.
The Fun Run allows families to walk, run or roll as Londoners cheer you on as you cross the finish line.
The Fun Run begins at 11:30am on Central ave.
Starting at 8:30am on Wellington st. near Wolfe st. is the M&T Printing group 5K. The race has a chipped-time start and finish and awards will be given to the winners.
The M&T 5K ends on Dufferin ave.
At 10am runners will take off from Clarence street for a 10k loop. Starting downtown Londoners will run through Western University Campus, and through Gibbons park to reach the finish line on Dufferin.
The 10k Run is Sponsored by New Balance London.
The final race is a Half Marathon. In the 21.1k run, participants start on Central then run through Western University, Old North residential district and then back downtown through Richmond and the Park System.
The Half Marathon is sponsored by McFarlan Rowlands Insurance Brokers inc. at begins at 8am.
With big white tents and tables all set up the Vendors of the event are excited for Londoners to check out the Running Expo.
Vendors such as Goodlife, Reforest London, Spartan Nutrition and many more encourage everyone to visit Victoria Park at some point this Saturday or Sunday.
