Londoners are hours away from the Dream Lottery’s bonus draw.
Lottery Spokesperson Rita Feeder says the deadline to purchase tickets is midnight on Thursday with the proceeds supporting hospitals in the Forest City.
“The money goes to the highest priority needs,” Feeder said. “The foundation sits with the hospitals and looks at where the funding is required. That is why the funding is so important to the hospitals.”
The draw will take place with early bird prizes awarded around 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
“[Londoners are eligible for] vacations, cars, the opportunity to win the $1.3 million dream home or walk away with $1 million in cash,” Feeder said. “There’s so much to win, but there is so little time.”
Earlier this year, Canadian Celebrity Mike Holmes helped support the construction of the dream home.
“A lower level is London Knights themed. It’s got an indoor hockey rink,” Feeder said. “It has a wow factor and we continue to do that every year.”
Feeder says Londoners can get 50 tickets for a $2 donation while $35 is worth 500 tickets.
The final draw will take place on the 17th and 18th of January.
