Old Man Winter might not be finished with London yet.
“This is a fairly intense storm system moving through that gave us the rain overnight,” Geoff Coulson, Environment Canada Warning Preparedness Meteorologist said. “We’re going to see the wind snap around the northwest and see this cold air coming down.”
Environment Canada is calling for temperatures to cool down heading into the weekend
“We are going to have some chilly temperatures on Thursday and Friday,” Coulson said.
Coulson says the drop in temperatures does not follow trends set in March in previous years.
“We are going to see temperatures bouncing back on Sunday,” Coulson said.
Coulson says some flurries could be on the way but that there would be no lake effect impacting the system.
“Drivers tonight and Thursday morning should be aware of icy patches around after the freeze up that has fallen,” Coulson said.
