The Iota Omega chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha at Western University have announced the return of Peak Week in an effort to raise money for charity. The week long series of events was originally planned for November, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the initiative is going on this week and will conclude on Wednesday January 31st.
The week is broken down into several events, of which participants will be awarded points for their participation. Although the overwhelming majority of participants in the events have been/will be members of the Greek scene, specifically sororities, the entire week of events is open to the general public.
On Saturday, the local fraternity hosted a friendly dodgeball competition. Points were awarded to the winners and to teams with the highest attendance.
Check out the video below to see some of the action and learn more about Pi Kappa Alpha’s charity initiative.
Points will be tallied at the final event, the winner will receive an all-expenses-paid party with the fraternity and $1000 donation to a charity of their choice on behalf of themselves and Pi Kappa Alpha.
Aside from the ongoing scavenger hunt, the last remaining event in Peak Week is “Pike Bunny” an annual dance competition. The event will be held at the Bull and Barrel on January 31st, starting at 7pm.
