Poutine combines so many wonderful flavors and textures in one bowl. Knowing that, a group of Poutiner’s take poutine personally, and organized the first Poutine Feast in London. The event will be happening at Victoria Park from 11am until 9pm until Sunday.
Organizer Susan Jones says they already have great responses from Londoners that will found out different styles of the food and not just the french fries, gravy, and cheese curds.
“We have options for vegans, or for people that are gluten free. We have different options and for everyone that wants to try poutine this weekend in London.”
Jones also explains that they are bringing the best vendors of poutine not just for London, but also to others places in Ontario.
Emily Radek from Montreal is trying hard to maintain her diet, but when she heard about the event, she didn’t lose the chance to try the most famous Canadian food.
“I am embarrassed right now because I am supposed to be training for a half marathon, so I don’t think that this is part of my diet, but I do love poutine and could not lose the chance to eat it”.
