One person has died after a collision between a cyclist and a flatbed truck Wednesday afternoon.
London Police say the cyclist and truck were travelling on Adelaide Street, both heading south towards Dundas Street. The collision happened around 12 p.m. close to the doors of the London Police Service headquarters.
Adelaide Street from Queens Street to Dundas Street was closed off for several hours as London Police and emergency crews investigated the circumstance around the collision.
The cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but later succumbed to those injuries.
The collision is under investigation by the Traffic Management Unit.
