Canadians are uniting together to show their support after this week’s tragic events in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu and Ottawa.
On Friday, citiziens all over the country will wear red to thank military men and women in Canada. This support campaign initially began when troops were overseas in Afghanistan.
London is also showing their support by holding a memorial to honour two fallen heroes. The public will gather at the Cenotaph in Victoria Park 8pm tonight in a memorial candlelight vigil. Respects will be paid to Warrent Officer Patrice Vincent and Corporal Nathan Cirillo who were both killed earlier this week.
