London Police are searching for a suspect after an overnight robbery at a south London pizza shop.
Officers say the robbery happened just before 12:30 a.m. Sunday at Papa John’s Pizza on Wellington Road, just south of Commissioners Road.
Police say the suspect came to pick-up his pizza and was paying for it when he demanded staff hand over cash from the till and safe.
The man fled on foot before officers arrived. The K9 Unit was dispatched to the area, but the man was not found.
The suspect is described as a 20-year-old black male, 5’8″ tall. Wearing dark blue jeans, a black Nike hooded sweater, and a black sweater wrapped around his face.
Police say no weapons were used or seen and no injuries were reported.
