Fanshawe will be holding a Remembrance Day ceremony to remember those who have served, and to honor those who have served and still serve today. The service will start at 10:45 sharp in J Gym 3 and end at 11:15. This is one annual moment when all the members of Fanshawe’s community, students, and staff are encouraged to gather and to remember.
The President of the Student Union, Matt Stewart will be sharing in “Flanders Field”. President of the College, and retired Lieutenant General, Peter Devlin will also be speaking at the event. As well, Reverend Francios Kruger, Lead Chaplain at Fanshawe, will share some inspiring words.
For those who cannot attend, Fanshawe encourages people to stream the ceremony online, wear a poppy in support, and take a moment of silence at 11am to remember and honor those men and women.
