If you’re exploring post-secondary options you may want to make your way to Western University.
UWO is hosting its annual Fall Preview Day this Sunday.
The day gives students the opportunity to explore campus and learn about the overall student experience.
Visitors from across Canada, the United States and the World will have the opportunity to see all undergraduate and professional faculties and attend various academic information sessions, mini lectures, lab tours and demonstrations, displays, student panels and faculty tours.
Director of Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions at UWO, Lori Gribbon says it’s a full day program; there are welcome sessions, faculty overview presentations and more.
Gribbon says students can pick and choose what they would like to attend throughout the day; she feels this quality of being able to see whatever you’d like to see makes their Preview Day stand out from other Universities.
Gribbon adds the whole campus contributes, from faculty, staff members to student volunteers.
She says one message towards students choosing a post-secondary career path is that it is a huge investment, and the best way to figure out which program you’d like to be in, how you like the campus and make overall the best decision possible is to come out and see for yourself.
In September 2014, Western welcomes its largest first-year class, including 5,314 full-time students.
Gribbon says if students haven’t registered to come, you are more than welcome to drop in and participate in the day.
