Fanshawe College is opening its doors to future students.
The open house takes place Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Potential students can speak to professors and students to get the insight on what programs Fanshawe has to offer.
Students can also take tours of the campus and residence buildings.
You can also take in sessions about financial aid and other programs the school has to offer to assist students.
The Hospitality Wing is one area of the College excited to show students what they have to offer- including the nearing Kingsmill expansion, and the addition of new elements to the program.
“We definitely have some new programs to talk about. We have our new venture at Kingsmill within a couple years downtown which is exciting for us, so we’re on a high here right now and really looking forward to meeting new students.” said Dale Dolson, Hospitality Management Coordinator.
“I think our message is that we probably have the best faculty in the province, and I think our teaching records show that. I really think we have a great school because of that, we’re up close and personal with our students and want to see them succeed, and we like to play a part in their career paths for the upcoming years ahead.” said Dolson.
The Hospitality Management team will also provide interactive demonstrations for the students including cocktail shaking, food preparation, and operating restaurant labs.
All campuses are open including London, St. Thomas, Woodstock and Simcoe.
