Another cold weather alert has been issued for Southern Ontario, including London.
This is the Middlesex-London Health Units second cold weather alert of this year.
The alert will remain in place until Wednesday, January 14th as the high is expected to climb to -7 degrees Celsius on that day.
Environment Canada has also issued an Extreme Cold Warning for many places including London and the surrounding region.
Due to a very cold air mass which has settled into most of Southern Ontario temperatures are to feel like -30 with the wind chill today.
These alerts are put into place to warn you of the high risks of frost bite and hypothermia.
Environment Canada says homeless people, outdoor workers, people with medical conditions such as diabetes, people who consume excess alcohol, infants and seniors are at greater risk than others and should layer up when outdoors.
