A man is facing a charge after an ambulance was stolen from Victoria Hospital Tuesday Morning.
It happened shortly after 5 a.m Tuesday when an ambulance was parked at the emergency department when the paramedics were inside the hospital offloading a patient.
London Police say that’s when the ambulance was taken but security stopped it before leaving the property.
Const. Ken Steeves says “he was observed leaving the emergency department.”
As a result, police have charged 31-year-old Phillip Mckay with auto theft.
Middlesex-London EMS are now investigating how the man was able to take the ambulance.
