Olympian and Panam athlete Damian Warner is back relaxing in London after his performance in Toronto. His manager held a party for the local track star to celebrate his hard work at the games.
Warner says that even though that he is done at the Panam games, he has his sights set on the future.
“So far, up to this point, my year has been really successful. I just hope that I can continue that momentum and keep it going towards next year for Rio” Says Warner. Warner is talking about the 2016 Olympic games set to be held in Rio de Janiero, Brazil.
he adds that it is his friends and family here in the Forest city that inspire him to go for gold.
The 25 year old Londoner set a new record for the decathlon with a total of 8659 points, beating a 19 year Canadian old record, and competed in the 2012 summer Olympics
