Nine thousand first year students are expected to walk in the front doors of Fanshawe College today. With the new school year beginning, this is the largest incoming class ever. This is a 10% increase from last year.
Peter Devlin, President of Fanshawe College adds that 15 new programs are added this year adding to the 200 programs being offered here.
Students moved into residence on the weekend as many as 1,600 and final registration took place as well.
Peter Devlin says that Fanshawe College is an amazing place and is a place where you can realize your dreams and with the help from the staff and support staff, students will earn credentials to help them access jobs.
Fanshawe College is expecting full time enrollment to increase by 7% as compared to last year. International student enrollment is up 40% and first year confirmations are up 8%.
