Former inmate of Elgin-Middlesex Detention Centre, court date for sentencing is coming up.
Joseph Kennedy has plead guilty to an assault to another inmate on October 22, 2013.
The victim was asked to the jail bathroom by Kennedy; where he and two additional inmates beat the victim, resulting in head injuries, scrapes and four broken ribs.
The victim was released from jail that month.
After his release he receive calls to change his story on the incident before Kennedy’s trial. Kennedy has admitted to making the calls.
The sentencing date is October 13th.
Kennedy is currently serving time in Windsor jail for another crime.
