The London Men of Accord are set to take the stage to celebrate their 70th anniversary.
President of the London Men of Accord, Ken Dodge, says that the group has become his own family away from home, “When you’re a member, it’s not only the singing, it becomes like a family. What you achieve with the music, at times gives you goosebumps, especially when the four parts all come together, this overtone is created. The sound is one thing, but the friends we have made is another.”
Fanshawe College has their own representative in the group. First year business student, Ian Lock, has been a member for four years. He says that the music plays an important role in the decisions he makes, “It gives me a much more positive outlook to life in general.”
“It’s more of the key and the lyrics within the song,” says Lock.
The London Men of Accord are set to perform at 7:30 PM on October 3rd at Catholic Central High School.
