Ph.D student at Western University is studying a different angle in the sex trade business.
Nathan Dawthorne says, there’s a lack of attention on male sex workers, “I want to know what’s going on.”
The study has attracted over 20 in-person interviews and almost 10 online. The amount of people collected came as a surprise to Dawthorne because most people replied to posters around town, over the amount of ads online.
“There are at least 96 ads online and most people have replied to the randomly posted signs around town,” says Dawthorne.
After researching for awhile his study was seen as more of Ph.D value over a Masters at Western University.
Dawthorne’s study is based on the the lives of the men in the sex trade and how it affects their lives.
