A lot of pink has been popping up around London lately. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and a lot of events have been going on throughout the month to show their support. Even local businesses have made some changes to show their support. Just last week at Althouse College at Western University, student volunteers joined the Canadian Cancer Society to put on a Zumba event for the evening run on just donations to the cause. The Works gourmet burger restaurant downtown has even gone as far as painting the entire front of their store pink. The works has a month long promotion with the breast burger. each burger purchased will have a portion of the cost donated to breast cancer research. Neon Crab tattoo studio in London has also made some changes to their business. All month long the tattoo shop is doing what they call pink ink. They will be doing pink ribbon tattoos for fifty dollars to show their support. Will Graham the owner of the studio says that he started this event in October eight years ago when his wife was diagnosed with cancer. The Works as well as Neon Crab will continue to show their support for breast cancer throughout the rest of the month.
