Kiwanis Senior Centre members were in for a treat this past Friday.
The Kiwanis Seniors centre held their annual Oktoberfest event. The centre welcomed over 100 seniors to their event with apple strudel for dessert and pork schnitzel with potato wedges, cauliflower and broccoli for lunch.
Those in attendance also enjoyed german folk songs and dance with the Kaiser Katz duo.
Kiwanis offers bus trips, game rooms, fitness classes and many many more to older adults 55+.
Janice Hamilton, Recreation Manager at City of London, says she encourages new members to come to see the facility.
Members have the option to purchase a membership at one or both locations in London between 40 to 60 dollars.
A 5 year member at the centre said ” We must thank the staff for all the hard work they put in every week.”
