Every October the Fanshawe Pioneer Village has their 15th annual Haunted Hayride.
Last year the village produced their version of Frankenstein in Upper Canada: A play by Jason Rip and this year Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde.
The Hayrides include spooky characters with a tour around the haunted village with a two part production.
People of all ages were seen at this years Haunted hayride with warm clothes and blankets.
Adrianna MacGillivray is an actress at the show and says “if you cant come to the show this year try to come next year because its a great production”
MacGillivray has been apart of the production for the past couple years and adds “its a great experience for producers, actors and show comers.”
Next year expect to see The terrifying Unseen, A Play by Jason Rip.
For the past 3 years the village has explored Victorian Gothic Horror.
Sheila Johnson, Executive director at the Pioneer Village said, ” Like everything we do at Fanshawe Pioneer Village, we are big on history! and big on fun”
Johnson adds “the hayride is a great way to celebrate the October season.”
There is only one weekend left to check out this years production.
The village hay ride takes just about an hour and costs 11 dollars per person.
