Celebrity Men’s Fashion Show
The annual celebrity men’s fashion show took place over the weekend, turning out to be one of the largest outcomes London has seen yet.
The fashion show was first started 7 years ago in hopes of raising money for the Canadian Kidney Foundation. The president of the Canadian Kidney Foundation, Greg Robinson, says that the Kidney Foundation is an organization that helps out patients who suffer from chronic kidney disease. “We try to help out patients in a couple of different ways, one being personal support. Personal support in living with kidney disease and also research on how to cure it.”
Each year, many male celebrities participate in walking down the runway to raise money for a good cause. One of the celebrities participating in the show is male Olympian figure skater, Scott Moir. “I’m going to try not to fall off the runway, that would be a nightmare. Last year, I jumped off the runway, so I am just going to try to keep it a little bit more sophisticated and simple” says Scott.
This year, London was able to raise a grand total of 400,000 dollars for the Canadian Kidney Foundation.
