There are 6 locations you can visit, depending on your area, or you can bring your Christmas greenery to a Community EnviroDepot as well.
If you’re in the East end of London Stronach Park is currently accepting trees for compost.
There are signs advising people to remove all decorations, tinsel, metal and plastic, and ensure that there are no loose nails hanging.
While trees can also be placed curbside to be picked up on garbage day, they will not be composted. The city of London urges people to make use of the recycling programs to help make London a greener city.
Trees can also be held on your property until the first compost pick up day in the spring.
