Custom-cut t-shirts, handmade jewelry and terrariums inspired by “Alice and Wonderland” were some of the unique finds at the Business Trade Show, run by fashion design students at Fanshawe College. The small kiosk was a fundraiser for the upcoming Unbound Fashion Show.
Aysha Barani, a student in the program, says opportunities like the trade show and the fashion show help them put their names on the map. “We are going to be the industry soon, so it’s important for us to get our names out there so people know who we are.
The Unbound Fashion Show will celebrate its 10th anniversary on April 9 at Museum London. Tickets are $45 each and will feature designs from students, alumni and Canadian designer David Dixon.
