It is that time of the year again,
As London is preparing itself for the annual Block party, but this year there will be a different twist to the party goers who attend every year. The London Music Hall announced that the Block Party will be changing locations from the York Street parking lot to Harris Park.
With the Canadian Country Music Awards already being in town, the rave has already been pushed back a weekend, and would have been too much work to set up the stages with all the CCMA’s taking up space.
According to Demetri Manuel, an organizer for the Block Party working for the London Music Hall, the move to Harris Park will be better for people than the parking lot it was once held.
” for the patrons having the event on grass and field will be a lot easier on the knees than concrete, people can sit more comfortably, dance more comfortably, walk more comfortably, and with the trees and shade and water being right there, it will be a more comfortable environment”

This event will be taking place on Friday September 16th and Saturday September 17th with the headliners being DVBBS and Oliver Heldens, this looks like an event you truly don’t want to miss.
