London eateries are getting a spot on the map.
‘Londonlicious’ is a food festival in London that encourages patrons to try new foods at new restaurants.
These aren’t big name locations, however, as explained by Dominic Raso, Owner, of Bourbon Street.
Instead, Londonlicious brings a new appeal to non-mainstream spots.
“Most of the restaurants that are doing it are, I’m going to say, sole proprietors, small individual operations, vs the chain operations,” says Raso. “So that’s how we got onto it.”
Raso says that bringing Bourbon Street to the list of restaurants was an easy choice, as last year the restaurant saw a boost in turnout.
“The general purpose is get people out and try restaurants that they haven’t tried before,” Raso says. “And also it’s that this time of the year it’s a little quieter for restaurants, so it’s bringing more business in for us.”
