The London Police Service Major Crime Section has charged 3 men and 1 woman with first degree murder in relation to the death of Raymond Beaver.
Daniel Cavanagh, 32, Melissa George, 34, Nicholas George, 18, and Peter Townsend, 20, all from London, have all been charged with first degree murder.
All 4 were arrested earlier in the week and they are also charged with break and enter and assault with a weapon, Melissa George has an added charge of uttering threats.
Raymond Beaver and his uncle George Janes were attacked in Janes’ home at 1 Lansdowne Ave. just before midnight on Monday. Janes was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries and has since been released; Beaver was pronounced dead at the hospital after being stabbed in the neck.
2 male youths have also been charged with break and enter but can not be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
