When going to college for food you have two options, you can buy groceries and cook at home or you can go out to restaurants or get fast food.
the obvious choice is to eat in and cook your own food, Tracy Johns is the program cordinator for nutrition and food services management at Fanshawe college and she says you can eat out and be as healthy as eating at home
“i think absolutely, and that has to do with education so making yourself aware of what good nutrition is and when you go out your checking the nutritional elements they give to you.”
Jones adds that she believes everyone should learn to cook and that one of the biggest problems with eating out and buying processed food at the stores there is a lot of sodium in those foods and that can effect your heart health and can lead to obesity.
