Enjoying the great outdoors doesn’t seem as appealing in the winter, but there are plenty of fun outdoor activities you can do in London. If you are looking for a place to hit the slopes then Boler Mountain will be your home this winter season, and with the bountiful snowfalls we’ve had already, conditions are primed for a great start. Boler Mountain officially opens for business today. Weekend hours are Saturday from 9am to 10pm and Sunday from 9am to 5pm.
New this year, Boler Mountain has opened up a brand new, 16,000 square foot facility. The facility cost over six million dollars and attaches to the pre-existing facility, complete with a full service bar, two fireplaces, and big windows overlooking the base of the hill.
Kim Hyslop, Group Sales Coordinator at Boler Mountain, says she is really excited for the season ahead and hopes that with all the snow we’ve been getting, we are due for a long season of outdoor fun on the slopes. When asked about the reasoning behind the new facility, Hyslop responded, “We just kinda out grew our current space.” Adding that the new venue will open up opportunities to hold large events such as weddings and corporate retreats.
Boler Mountain is also student friendly. Wednesdays offer discounts on lift tickets and equipment rentals when you show your student ID. Plus Saturday Night Special includes disocunts ion lift tickets and equiment rentals for everyone after 4:30pm.
