Fashion and charity go together to bring happiness to children suffering from health problems in London. Responsible to put a smile on their faces, The Abby Fund helps to bring the dream dress or superhero cape to life. The founder, Nicole Snobelen, explains that the purpose is to give the children the experience of drawing their dream clothes.
“We volunteer our time to go to hospitals and help children to lift the spirits. The children come up with the design of a dress our superhero cape and we brings it to life.”
Snobelen also says that she wants to make a difference on kid’s lives and take them out of the hard moment that they are passing through and watch them become the real superheroes that they really are.
The idea is not replicate designs, but help children use their imagination.
“If the child can’t come up with a design, we ask her to share interests with us, so we can create one for them.”
The upcoming event to get funds is a Charity Fashion Show that will happen on June 9th at 255 Horton Street 6 to 9pm.
