After a $51.5 million expansion, the Nestle ice cream plant in London is ready to hire new sets of hands.
The factory located in the southend of the city is planning on hiring 150 full-time employees soon.
Nestle says they’re looking for workers to operate production lines, package products, and sanitize lines and equipment.
Now that the factory is 9,000 square feet larger, the company hopes to boost its production yield as it produces and distributes ice cream such as Drumsticks and Haagen-Dazs across Canada.
The factory typically employs around 750 people.
Anyone interested in joining the ice cream team can attend a job fair on June 21 from 10:00am-4:00pm at the Hellenic Community Centre (133 Southdale Rd.)
