The RCMP say a London man is facing 3 counts of conspiracy to smuggle persons across the border.
The national police force says an investigation began in September 2017 after being contact by US Homeland Security, about persons illegally crossing the border.
The RCMP worked with the London Financial Crimes Unit, Us Homeland Security and Canadian Border Services Agency during the investigation.
As a result, police have charged 27 year old Trong Hoang Nguyen of London with 3 counts of Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offense.
In media release, Inspector Joe Czenze of the London detachment of the RCMP says that the force is committed to working with partners to ensure the safety of the border and the prevention and disruption of smuggling people across the border.
The accused is to make his first court appearance on July 20th, in London.
