London Police are still looking for 18 year old, Zachary McDermott, who has a warrant out for his arrest in connection with the shooting on September 12, outside of a Tim Horton’s. A photo of McDermott has been released by the police.
He is being charged with murder and attempt murder by discharging a firearm.
21 year old, Christopher Clements-Card, was wounded during the shooting at Dundas Street and Veteran’s Memorial Parkway, and was brought to hospital where he later died of his injuries.
The firearm used during the shooting has still not been recovered, but police continue to investigate.
London Police continue to investigate the whereabouts of McDermott, and anyone with any information on his location should contact the police. London Police want to make it known that helping, comforting or assisting McDermott in avoiding his arrest is a criminal offence.
Anyone with any information or who may know the whereabouts of McDermott is encouraged to call police. If seen, McDermott should not be approached and instead call 9-1-1 immediately.
