A suspended London police officer has been arrested and charged this morning.
He had breached a condition of his recognizance.
The officer had been charged with sexual assault in 2017. He is now being accused for breaching a release condition.
The London police is not releasing the name of this officer or commenting further because this is now before the court.
The officer continues to remain suspended with pay.
It is noted that the Provisions of the Police Services Act does not allow members of police service to be suspended with out pay.
