The first performer has been announced for The 2019 JUNO Awards, London’s own Loud Luxury.
Loud Luxury is made up of Andrew Fedyk and Joe De Pace, who met at Western University. Their single Body is the third largest selling single in Canada this last year behind Drake and Ed Sheeran.
“I was hearing their song on the radio and loved it. And their radio promoter said you know they’re from Canada right? And I had no idea, then he said they’re from London. And so immediately I was like we have to get these guys for the show and this needs to be the first announcement,” said Allan Reid the President and CEO of CARAS/The JUNO Awards and MusiCounts.
Reid was the one to make the announcement at Budweiser Gardens.

The duo that makes up Loud Luxury spoke on how excited they are to be a part of the JUNO Awards.
“When we found out the JUNO’s were going to be in London this year that was amazing, but then when we found out we were playing we were just blown away,” said Joe De Pace of Loud Luxury.
“The majority of our performances, because we are in the electronic world, are very late. So to have the opportunity to do a proper performance at a show like this I think it will really be a good opportunity to showcase our artistry too,” said Andrew Fedyk of Loud Luxury.
The JUNO Awards are on March 17, 2019. Reid said he couldn’t give any hints on who else will be performing at the JUNO Awards, but said that big announcements will come on January 29th, 2019 when nominees are announced.
