Mother Teresa Catholic Secondary School was placed on hold and secure for about two hours. Friday morning London police were investigating a social media post related to a threat involving the school. There was no threat to public safety but just to be safe the school stayed on hold and secure. The hold was lifted around 12:20pm.
Parents were asked not to go by the school while the hold and secure was taking place.
Hold and secure is when the school is all locked and no one goes in or out.
London police have explained that if anyone is in a situation where they need help they need to contact police directly.
Police have not since released what the threat was.
LPS is still investigating the incident.
