Seven Londoners have been charged in relation to online exploitation of children that live in London.
They were charged by the London Police Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit.
“When a member of our community accesses, views, or shares child pornography, that person creates a market that supports the continued abuse of children around the world,” said Det. Sgt. Glenn Hadley.

The following charges were laid;
Terrence MCKAY, 72, is charged with:
- Possession of child pornography (2)
- Distribution of child pornography
- Accessing child pornography
- Careless storage of firearm (3)
- Possession firearm no licence (2)
A 62-year-old London man who’s name cannot be released as he is being charged by way of summons, is charged with:
- Possession of child pornography
- Distribution of child pornography
- Accessing child pornography
Derek Gauthier, 38, is charged with:
- Possession of child pornography
- Accessing child pornography
- Making available child pornography
Adam Raeside, 33, is charged by way of warrant with breach of probation.
A 24-year-old man whose name cannot be released as a result of a Court-ordered publication ban, is charged with:
- Luring a person under 16 (4 counts)
- Sexual interference
- Invitation to sexual touching
- Sexual assault
- Adult distribute cannabis to a young person
An 18-year-old male, who was 17 at the time of the charge and, therefore, cannot be identified under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is charged with making threats to cause bodily harm.
A 16-year-old male, who cannot be identified under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is charged with
- Possession of Child Pornography
- Distribution of Child Pornography
- Non-consensual distribution of intimate images

“London Police Service participated in the December 5, 2018, announcement by the Provincial Strategy to Protect Children From Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet held in Vaughan, ON. Over the month of November in Ontario, a total of 267 judicial authorizations were obtained, resulting in 551 charges against 122 persons, including 11 youth who cannot be identified under terms of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. ”
“The ICE Unit is dedicated to finding these offenders to stop them from accessing child pornography and, in the process, save a few children from being victimized. This is a collective national and international effort the LPS is proud to be a part of.” explained Sargent Hadley.
